Hosted Phone Service Vs Owning

hosted phone vs IP lease

IP phones system lease compared to hosted phone service

Hosted Phone service is trending at a fast pace. Most people are transitioning to IP phones as the big push to get rid of pots lines is getting closer. What is really the best way to go depends on you and your likes and needs. Owning your system has more up front cost, and your are responsable for your own repairs after the warranty but it puts a cap on your cost. Leasing a system gets you up and running with little to no money upfront, but you’ll be paying for the life of the system totaling a greater cost then if your paid for your own. The contracts are longer, but the maintenance is included as well.

Another option is to lease a phone system with a warranty to cover parts for the life of the lease. It’s the best of both the low monthly cost of a hosted phone system and the convenience of owning your own. The cost per month would be lower than a hosted phone system, and the upfront cost would be lower than buying it outright.
